Thanking My New Readers
Good morning! Or afternoon or evening if you’re spread across the world like many of my visitors!
I want to thank those that have been supportive of my new site here. Writing about travel is so enjoyable for me; it is almost as good as traveling in the first place because I get to go back in time and re-live the good and bad of my experiences.
As someone who isn’t a freelancer and has to parse out my vacation days judiciously, I hope my experiences speak to those who are in the same situation as I am. Budgeting money, naturally, but also precious time. Many travel bloggers are “digital nomads” and live their whole lives on the road. That is amazing for them but not possible for everyone. Hopefully some of what I’ve learned in my voyages can be helpful to someone else, like how to use the cross-border bridge to fly cheaply out of Tijuana.
As you may have been able to tell, I got on a London kick recently and wrote a lot about it. Which is funny, because Paris is the city that holds my heart… but evidently London wanted to break out and get onto the internet first. It is a great city for an American new to international travel since there is no language barrier and it’s easy to find airline tickets on promotion.

- Viewing London by sightseeing bus
Last night I sat down and sketched out some upcoming post series and I am really, really excited about getting to work on those. Upcoming topics range from national (Washington DC, the American Southwest) to international (Paris, Mexico City) as well as money-saving strategies, tips and tools, so please plan to come back for more!

I thought I’d subscribed to this on Bloglovin as soon as you told me about it but apparently I was mistaken! I just binged on so much travel information. 😀 So excited for you. Also the design of your site is supreme. I love the whole vibe.
Thank you so much! I have big plans for the graphics but I’m working slow and steady for now.
Just came across your blog, and loving the content! I love to travel write as well, and have been starting my own blog over at http://www.alwaysaforeigner.com. Excited to follow along on your journeys!
Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment! I will follow you too 🙂
Awesome! Glad you like what we’re doing. 🙂
