About

Approximately a 2 minute read

Voyageer? Huh? I made up this word to mean a travel specialist. My goal for this site is to provide practical advice for making your aspirational travel dreams become reality.

Seven Magic Mountains
Seven Magic Mountains, Nevada

My name is Staci. I’m a daytime desk jockey, and a full-time travel dreamer. I took my first overseas trip with my high school French club in 2005 and have never looked back. Getting my first passport stamp and seeing the Eiffel Tower shimmer at night sparked a lifelong passion for traveling abroad.

I live in San Diego, which is kind of like being on vacation every day, you know, aside from the work and bills aspect of it all.

On the topic of work, like most of us, I have not been able to become a freelance digital nomad nor live overseas for an extended period of time. I hustle day in and day out to keep a roof over my head and after that, travel as much as I can. I hope I can inspire you to keep grinding at your day job—chasing that PTO—and get away as much as you can manage. Sometimes even discovering something new in your own backyard can give you a traveler’s thrill.

Learn a little bit more about me via my introductory post.
